Shachak Elevators is a private company established and owned by Mr. Shimon Amrad in 1980. Over time, the company has grown to become one of the best known companies in the supply, installation, and maintenance of elevators, escalators and moving walkways (travelators).

The company is located in HaifaBay (north of ) - in the industrial zone. The company occupies 3000 square meters of factory and office space, and includes a technical department, purchasing department, installation and operation department, metalwork production line, electric production, service department and quality control department. Personnel includes 60 Shachak employees and about 7 subcontractor groups (which are the “House” subcontractors). Production capacity is about 150 elevators per year.

The company, which is headquartered in the north of the country, has spread all over the country, with several branches that serve as local service and sales offices. In this manner, the company reaches potential customers and also can quickly and satisfactorily serve existing customers.

The company's production is based on importing of safety components from the leading manufacturers around the world as well as local manufacturing of the metalwork (doors, cabins etc), the control panels and the signalization devices. All devices are installed and checked in the factory and then transferred to site for installation completion.

Shachak Elevators installs and services all kinds of elevators: Apartment house lifts, commercial and public buildings' elevators (such as hospitals, offices buildings, shopping centers, schools etc.), elevators in old buildings, elevators in private houses and special lifts for the handicapped.

The elevators supplied by the company can be hydraulic lifts, traction lifts, lifts without machine room (MRL), standard type or with special decoration and shapes (transparent cabins, round and other shapes cabins, special stainless steel claddings and special wood –marble mixed cabin walls).

The company's customers come from all sectors, beginning with the private customers, followed by private small building companies, private large building companies, and customers from the public and governmental companies.
