Wire Rope Works Messilot Ltd. was established in 1961 as the first wire rope manufacturing plant in Israel.

Since then, we have expanded our market beyond Israel and have accrued a lot of experience exporting our products, especially elevator ropes, to various industrialized nations.

Throughout the years, Wire Rope Works Messilot Ltd. has been constantly improving and innovating its manufacturing technologies, machinery and wire rope applications with a special emphasis on the manufacture of special wire ropes.

Due to their high quality, our products enjoy a worldwide reputation, especially for applications that require high reliability and long service life together with exacting compliance with international standards.

Wire Rope Works Messilot has been distributing it's elevator ropes in North America since the 1980's.

We take great care in producing our wire ropes and our specifications requirements are more stringent than all international standards. Of course, all our products are fully tested according to our ISO 9001 quality assurance procedures.

Since August 2017, Messilot have been granted with the right to use the API (American Petroleum Institute) monogram and working under its strict procedures.

This website contains the technical specifications of all the steel wire ropes we manufacture as part of our standard production program. This program covers most common applications. We are also able to manufacture other wire ropes according to our customers specifications.
