Since 1957 Stahl has installed more than 4000 elevators in Norway, including inland elevators as well as elevators on board ships and oilplattforms in the North Sea. Stahl can take responsibility for everything from projecting, designing, production and installation including service, maintenance, modernization and replacement for all types of lift installations.

Our business idea is to be a quality supplier for vertical transportation appliances. This includes all types of hydraulic lifts and wire traction lifts.

These lifts are adapted to the environment in which they operate, whether it is an ordinary land based construction, ships, petrochemical plant, onshore or offshore.

Our company has special expertise in installations in EX-areas and is Schindler’s centre of competence for lift solutions to ships- and offshore markets in Norway.

Stahl has approximately 75 employees located at the head office in Bergen and our branch offices in Oslo and Førde. On these pages you will find more information about the company, our products and services.

The company has since 1994 been owned by the Swiss Schindler Group, which is the world’s second largest manufacturer of lifts with operations in more than 100 countries and more than 40.000 employees.
