Mowrey Elevator Company Inc. was started in Davie, Florida in 1976. A new facility was purchased in 1984 in Blountstown, Florida. With continued growth, an even larger facility was needed. The current location in Marianna, Florida was purchased in 1997 and is 380,000 square feet. The massive space increase has allowed the company to fabricate nearly every piece of product on site.

Founder Timothy S. Mowrey, Sr., “The Elevator Man”®, is an elevator consultant and active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, which is instrumental in writing and adopting the elevator codes on a national level.

Today, Mowrey Elevator remains a family-owned company with several hundred employees committed to customer excellence across numerous service center locations.
