The company Carmi Spa , since its foundation in 1973, has operated in the earthmoving,
industrial and road machinery sector with Volvo CE and then expanded to the industrial engine sector (off-road) with Volvo Penta and directly manages both the Sales and Rental , Assistance and Spare Parts services . It also operates in the quarry and demolition sector with crushing and screening machines and more recently has equipped itself with its own Engineering Division for the customization of special machines and equipment. Since 2007, the Volvo CE Italia logistics hub has been operational at our company , a key structure for the set-up and distribution throughout the national territory.


With the aim of establishing a direct relationship with Clients based on loyalty and transparency in dealing with every aspect of the business, purchasing or renting one of our vehicles entails on our part the responsibility of becoming an active part in the daily process of generating value for Client Companies. This attitude generates close and lasting collaborative relationships.

Carmi Spa's technical-assistance activities are carried out, with a highly specialized staff of approximately 50 units, in its own plant in Castel Bolognese (RA) with a covered surface area of ​​approximately 6500 m2 on areas of 50,000 m2 overall.

The assistance activity then extends to the Customer's offices and construction sites, having a large fleet of vehicles equipped and provided with the most advanced instruments for external assistance, capable of carrying out most of the interventions directly on site.
